ABOUT REAL HORIZONS

Real Horizons was founded by its owner, Eugene Hoyt, with a mission to become a premier, multi service inspection company in the greater Houston area. Mr. Hoyt is a Professional Inspector as well as an educator who oftentimes teaches for Builder's Academy, a well recognized school that instructs builders, inspectors and real estate agents. He is also a part of the Builder's Academy team of Inspectors.

Mr. Hoyt's educational background includes a  BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Decision Sciences. His current associations  include; Certification and Licensing as a Home Inspector by the Texas Real Estate Commission, a Certified Secondary Mathematics Teacher in the State of Texas, a Certified member of the International Assosciation of Certified Home Inspectors, a Certified member of the International Association of Indoor Air Consultants, a Certified member of the International Code Council, a Certified IECC Residential Energy Inspector and Plans Examiner and also Certified to perform Infrared Scanning and Thermal Imaging.  In addition, Mr. Hoyt also has a great deal of experience in the remodeling and renovation of rental investment properties and is an active property investor himself.
